Can I control multiple thermostats from one app?

Yes. Add unlimited Mysa thermostats to one account. Control each individually or group them into zones (coming soon for Mysa Central). Set different schedules for different areas. View energy reports per thermostat or combined. Share access with family members so everyone can adjust climate through their own devices.

Can I install Mysa for Central to a junction box?

Yes. The Mysa Trim Kit (sold separately) includes a mounting plate designed for standard electrical junction boxes.

Can I control Mysa from my phone?

Yes. The free Mysa app gives you complete temperature control from your phone. Full control means adjusting your thermostat from bed, work, or vacation.

Can I use Mysa to control my whole-home humidifier?

No. While Mysa for Central HVAC features a built-in humidity sensor that allows you to monitor your home's humidity levels directly from the app or device display, it does not have the accessory terminals (ACC/HUM) required to actively control external equipment like humidifiers, dehumidifiers, or ventilators. However, we are working on developing a 7-relay version of the central HVAC thermostat that would support accessory control. Stay tuned for updates.

Can Mysa Central use room sensors to make my home more comfortable?

Not yet. This feature arrives in the first half of 2026 with the Mysa Climate Sensor. It tracks temperature and humidity wherever you place it, balancing hot and cold spots automatically.

Do I need a C-wire for Mysa for Central HVAC (low-voltage)?

Yes, a C-wire (Common wire) is required to provide continuous power to the low-voltage Mysa for Central HVAC. If your system does not have a C-wire, a C-wire adapter is supported to ensure compatibility.

Does it require Wi-Fi?

Yes. Mysa needs a 2.4 GHz WiFi connection to enable remote control, voice commands, smart home integration, and app-based features like energy reports . Without WiFi, the thermostat still regulates temperature using manual controls on the device itself, but you lose all smart functionality. Make sure your WiFi signal reaches the thermostat location before installation

Does Mysa have a microphone or speaker?

No. It's a thermostat, not a listening device. We believe those experiences are best left to a smart home speaker that's likely updated more often than your thermostat.

My Fourth Mysa

Mysa thermostats are wonderful. We have a ski condo where we have two baseboard thermostats (V1) and those work flawlessly. Superb customer support that gives me great confidence in the company

I was installing this thermostat to replace an existing two wire thermostat that ran a relay switch to a group of baseboards. It is not a normal install and the support from Mysa was nothing short of superb. They sent complete descriptions and diagrams on how to hook up, all within a few hours of my inquiry.
